The Biomedical Sexology Program provides an in-depth exploration of the biological, psychological and social foundations for human behaviors. This rigorous program draws on cutting-edge research in neuroscience, reproductive biology, pharmacology, genetics, tissue engineering, endocrinology, developmental biology, biotechnology, psychology, gender and sexuality studies, anthropology, history, dance ethnography, ethnomusicology, political science. Participants will engage critically with diagnostic frameworks, emerging research, and foundational literature, alongside exploring frameworks from the lenses of disability studies, decolonial theories, postcolonial theories, feminist theories, indigenous theories — developing the knowledge of sociocultural dimensions of human behaviors to apply, critique, and contextualize into their professional practices.
