WEBINAR [Synchronous/Virtual]

DESCRIPTION

Establishments such as patriarchy, colonialism and white supremacy, resulted in traumatic experiences inherited by the general populace as a whole. Neuroanthropologists argue that the brain develops through cultural leveraging wherein cultural practices and institutions put in place, influence genetic expression, neural pathway development, behavioral patterns and social interactions.

Structured as a healing experience, this workshop addresses attachment wounds, its nested manifestations with trauma, its generational inheritance and revisits our developmental period, all the while helping us reflect, analyze and transform (top-down approach) and cleanse, accept and rejuvenate (bottom-up approach).

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  1. At the end of the session, attendees will be able to reflect upon the culture medium that contributed to one’s brain development and survival skills.
  2. At the end of the session, attendees will be able to cleanse one’s mind off the language and social scripts one was brought up with.
  3. At the end of the session, attendees will be able to embrace one’s authentic self in this botoxed world.
